Bali's foodservice sector is driven by strong tourism growth and increasingly health-conscious consumer preferences. As one of the island's most dynamic and profitable industries, the food and beverage (F&B) sector continues to present significant opportunities for premium food products and culinary innovation.
This event aims to drive awareness, interest, and demand for Queensland Beef within Bali's premium foodservice market. It will also showcase the versatility and quality of Queensland Beef through innovative culinary applications, featuring the Asian and Western cooking techniques and the launch of a specially curated menu that highlights its exceptional flavour and performance across a range of dishes.
Through specially created menus by Celebrity Chef/Chef Owner Chandra Yudasswara and limited-time dining experiences, the programme will highlight how Queensland beef can be enjoyed in Asian and Western flavours.
Christian Haryanto, Chief Representative MLA Indonesia, said “Bali’s dining scene is one of the most exciting markets in Southeast Asia for premium Australian beef. Through our collaboration with Trade and Investment Queensland and Tanaka Graha Indonesia, we are bringing Queensland beef to Bali customers who appreciate great quality, trusted origins, and delicious taste.”
Queensland beef is known around the world for its consistent quality, rich flavour, and good marbling. This reputation comes from generations of careful farming, strong breeding practices, and strict production standards. Available in both grass-fed and grain-fed options, Queensland beef continues to be trusted by top chefs and consumers worldwide.
Tony Burnett, Queensland Trade and Investment Commissioner Indonesia, Trade and Investment Queensland, added, “As Australia’s largest beef-producing state, Queensland accounts for around 45% of the country’s total beef. Our vast natural landscapes spanning from the tropical north to the fertile Darling Downs create the perfect environment for raising high-quality cattle and producing some of the world’s best beef. Beyond our premium boxed beef, Queensland's breeding herd makes a substantial contribution to Indonesia's food security, supporting a live cattle export supply chain that feeds more than 15 million Indonesians each year. Through this initiative, we are thrilled to introduce Indonesian consumers to the exceptional quality, provenance, and flavour of Queensland beef. Partnering with Bali’s esteemed Cliff at Canna, this showcase not only celebrates world-class Queensland produce but also demonstrates the strengthening economic and culinary connections between Queensland and Indonesia”
Dharmawan Tanaka, CoFounder & CEO Tanaka Graha Indonesia, shared, “As the official importer and distributor of Queensland beef in Indonesia, we are proud to provide premium Australian beef to the country’s top restaurants. Through this programme, we celebrate the outstanding quality of Queensland beef while reinforcing our commitment to supporting Bali’s growing culinary landscape through strong and enduring industry partnerships.”
